*A VONTADE COAL MINE BLOUSE

Coal mine blouse by *A VONTADE is inspired by the jackets likely worn by coal miners in the early 1900s. Made of standard fabric of the brand, 11.5oz selvedge denim woven with Nep yarn for the weft. Finished with processing to achieve a worn-in look, as if worn for about six months. The front features a simple design with a single left pocket. Tucks were added not only to the back, but also to the front, creating an overall rounded silhouette. The neckline, inspired by vintage jackets, features a slightly dropped front with a small collar shape and uses slightly smaller-than-standard tack buttons. It features side slits, and a slide buckle on the waist belt allows for adjusting the waist silhouette.

This jacket blends details from American and European workwear.
