Eiger cardigan by Heimat takes inspiration from the first mountaineers to ascend the formidable Eiger Nordwand in the Bernese Alps and it's perfectly suited to sitting by the fire with your feet up. It's knitted in Germany from a high-quality virgin wool, with a generous shawl collar, square patch pockets, and a five-button front.
The sleeves and collar are attached by hand, which is more time consuming and labour intensive than using a standard machine stitch but results in a superior finish.
